How Skip Bin Bookings Work
1. Finding What Services are Available
Using the "Get Prices Instantly" panle you can find what sererfvice are available in your chosen suburb. Just enter the Subuurb name, the waste type and the volume of waste you need to get rid of. Click the "Get Prices Now" button and in seconds you will get a shortlist of service to chose from.
2. Selcting the Right bin for the Job
The shortlist of service may include skip bins of the same size. If you need the bin for heay waste like soil, bricks, concrete etc it can be better to get a bin with lower sides and/or a door. Consider what you need the bin for and what will make your job easier. It is often worth the extra dollars to get the right type of bin.
3. Booking Your Skip Bin
You can book your skip bin here over the Internet of by calling up (even through the chat facility (bottom right). Booking the bin on the internet s easy aand all you have to do is complete 3 screens and your booking will be complete. When your booking is complete we send you a booking confirmation to make sure you have order exactly what you wanted and you have the documentation to beable to review it and contact us if you think of anything else that you overlooked.
4. What happens next with your booking
As soon as you have booked your skip bin online, the job will be sent to the local depot who will be responsible for delivering your bin. On occassions if instructions need clarification you will get a call from the loacal depot so they are really clear about what you want as they are eager to please.
5. Skip Bin Delivery Day
On the morning of your skip bin delivery, the depot gets a reminders about your bin. And after they have delivered your bin you should receive an email letting you know that (and a reminder about when the bin is scheduled to be picked up. In 90% or omre of jobs our bins are delivered when no one is at home or at the delivery address. We try to make sure the delivery driver has all the information about where the bin should be placed and tey will have your contact details just in case they need to speak to you.
6. Day prior to pick up
On the day prior to pick up we will send you an email about the pick up the following day. If you still need the skip longer than expected give us a call and arrange a new pick up date. Leaving it until the truck is picking up the bin is shunned as it shows little respect for our time and effort to provide a great service to you and other customers.. It could also result in a fee for the drivers waste time.
7. Pick-up
Again just like deliveries, pick ups don't need any one to be home as long as there is open access to the property.
8. Rubbish Removal and Diaposal
When the rubbish in you bin is picked it maybe taken straight to the tip or to a recycling yard. In either case the bin is emptied out and whatever is in the bottom of the big is on top of the pile of the rubbish in the yard. Any contaminated loads of rubbish are obvious.
